Bruce Springsteen/Tom Morello/ The Ghost of Tom Joad

Last night April 26th,2012 at The Los Angeles Sorts Arena, music fans were given a treat by 2 great artists. Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave joined Bruce onstage for what was an outstanding performnce of The Ghost of Tom Joad. Bruce was fresh and eagar to show he still has it! Tom Morello’s performance along side The Boss was an experience to say the least. Tom opened the eyes to many Springsteen fans that have never seen Tom play. Tom wrestled that guitar to the ground with an unbelieveable guitar solo….Bruce Springsteen played for almost 3 hours, crowd surfing, bringing fans onstage and never slowed down for a 60 year old rocker , he still kicks serious ass.

Radio Clash

Does anyone listen to the radio and think this is good? The radio/stereo has become a pop oriented sewer of noise and it’s been coming for quite some time, but as technology draws nearer it seems radio programers are still content with putting out only ” pop ” music. Who says that’s popular? I guess we really need a true pirate radio station. Music is so diverse but the radio only gives us a small pipeline of what they want us to buy. That’s why we need to support local artist. There are so many talented musicians that don’t get the attention they deserve. Turn off your radio’s and TV’s and get out to support local music!!!

Saint Patrick’s Day in Pomona

Musical Apparel was at Characters, in Pomona, Ca., on St. Patty’s Day to go and support The Bohunks, a local ska, reggae, roots music band that kicks ass. They hail from Montebello, Ca. If you have a chance to see them, do it. Musical will always support local artist and musicians,so if you have a band or know of someone that is trying to get your name out to the people, hit us up with a link and we’ll host a video.
